New Stay At Home Measures
From Saturday 2nd May, the Government has implemented new relaxed lockdown measures to help support the wellbeing of islanders.
These include:
- An increase in time allowed outside your home from 2 to 4 hours per day
- Time can be spent outside for any outdoor activity (not just exercise and shopping)
- You can now spend time outdoors with up to 2 other people not from your household, as long as you keep 2 metres apart
These new changes will hopefully help the wellbeing of everyone, however this does not mean the lockdown has ended and all other measures of social distancing and self-isolation are in place.
As always, if you are unsure or have any concerns, contact the Coronavirus helpline from 8am – 8pm everyday on 01534 445566 or visit Gov.je for the latest COVID-19 advice.
Thank you for keeping yourself and everyone else safe!
